In every society there are people who are weak and vulnerable. They are liable to be exploited by unscrupulous elements and anti-social groups. Justice requires that special care and protection is extended to these groups, so that they too can live a full and meaningful life in accordance with their dignity as human beings, created in the image of God,. Yet if we analyse the situation of India, it is not difficult to see that such care and protection are not always extended and consequently, these groups are exploited.
The counseling center of Mother Teresa Trust aims to help these vulnerable group women, children, aged and physically and mentally challenged people. The volunteers in the villages move around the village and find out these kind of people and refer them to the center. Five trained counselors in the center will counsel them till they get recovered. Once they become normal, women are helped to engage in some micro credit activities, children are admitted in Mother Teresa Boys Home to continue their studies, physically and mentally challenged children are admitted in special schools and the abundant aged are admitted in aged homes. The Trust will provide financial help if it is needed. This service is more useful to the villagers and has received good name in the locality. Thousands of people benefited out of it and their life is also saved.
