
Mother Teresa Rural Health Programme has been launched in the year 2005 to create awareness among rural mass who suffer from limited exposure to modern medicare. Majority of the rural folk has traditional believe in superstition and self medication. This trend is more dangerous than the very virus spreading various kinds of diseases. In order to create awareness and instill confidence among the rural masses the Trust conducts counseling sessions in remote villages with the help of team of doctors and educate them about the causes and remedies for the vulnerable health hazards which affect their life. Besides the Trust also organizes regular medical camps to provide immediate relief to the affected and solve the basic medical problems. For this purpose the Trust is utilizing Mother Teresa Ambulance which also provides free ambulance service to the needy patients on demand round the clock. So for we have conducted 20 special medical camps.
